Online Dispute Resolution

“Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens”
-Jimi Hendrix

We offer consultations, mediation, co-parenting coaching and Collaborative meetings via video presence. Video communication is especially helpful during a pandemic but can be used at any time. Some people prefer in person meetings and others find services are more accessible without the commute time. Online Dispute Resolution works well with preparation to preserve confidentiality and minimize technical issues.

It is important to see faces during any conversation but especially when people are negotiating or discussing parenting challenges. Facial expressions and energy behind words are crucial parts of communication. Online negotiations are more effective when all participants have a device with a camera and sufficient connection strength to use it. All dispute resolution processes are confidential so it is important to participate from a location where others, especially children, cannot overhear the conversation. A commitment to be fully present and not multi-tasking or scanning a phone is critical.

There are advantages and challenges with both in person and online dispute resolution processes. You choose the process that will work best for you.
